The GenerationArt Artists in Residence are community members who have demonstrated dedication to the Turtle Mountain community through art, cultural revitalization, and academic leadership. DR. DENISE LAJIMODIERE
Dr. Lajimodiere is a member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa. She is a professor of educational leadership at North Dakota State University. Dr. Lajimodiere is skilled in Native art forms such as birch bark biting, beading, and regalia making. She is also a painter and writer who has published two poetry books.
